  1. Open the live inclined plane flow simulator.

  2. Read the reference material.

  3. Find the slope angle at which the flow just begins to flow and write this number down

  4. For 10 values of slope angle above this value, wait for the system to reach some kind of steady behaviour and record the measured friction coefficient and shear strain rate.

  5. Using the recorded values, make a graph of the friction coefficient against the inertial number.

  6. Using your experience from this exercise, write a list of conditions under which a 'steady' state can be observed here.
